Do you have accounting experience? Would you like to become more involved in the community? If your answer to these questions is yes, please consider volunteering to serve as the treasurer of Sausalito Sister Cities, a nonprofit organization founded in 1960.

Sausalito Sister Cities programs facilitate youth exchange (Japan and Portugal) and knowledge-sharing with local businesswomen (Chile) to create global opportunities for people-to-people diplomacy.

Duties of the treasurer include maintaining the budget and P&L, participating on the finance committee, managing fundraising monies, and advising on tax-related issues. Involvement could also include attending monthly board meetings, providing counsel on long-term objectives, and hands-on participation in exchange and education programs.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player and consensus builder who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into our vibrant, passionate, and committed community. Non-profit experience is desired, but not required. Interested in learning more? Please visit sausalitosistercities.org or email Monica Finnegan at mfinnegan@urbanrealestateadvisors.com.
