Jill Knott has been involved with the Sausalito-Sakaide Sister Cities Program since 2014 when her daughter, Lauren, was a student exchange delegate traveling to Sakaide, Japan, followed by her son, Philip, two years later. Their family has also hosted two Japanese student delegates in their home and she is a member of the Sausalito-Sakaide Sister Cities Operations Council.

Professionally, Jill was in technology sales and marketing for many years with NCR Corporation, and then in the design industry as Vice President of Operations with Conrad Imports – a window covering import company – managing their San Francisco headquarters, subsidiary in South Korea, and weaving partner relationships in Indonesia and China. Her experience traveling and working in Asia, inspired her interest in encouraging her children to get involved with the Sakaide Sister Cities Program – a life changing experience for both of them. She has also been involved in various volunteer capacities serving on the Marin Art & Garden Center Pixie Park Board, Hall Middle School and Redwood High School PTSA Boards, and as Fundraising Chair for Redwood’s Grad Night.

Jill grew up in the Midwest and has a BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in Finance and International Business. She also attended City University in London. Her interests include travel, tennis, hiking and photography.
