jim-meyerJim is a member of the Sausalito Sister Cities Inc Board and Vice-Chairman of the Sausalito Cascais Sister City Operations Council which he helped to establish.

He currently serves as Treasurer of the Sausalito Historical Society and is also head of the Finance Committee for the Sausalito Portuguese Historical Society (aka IDESST). He was a co-founder of the Friends of Sausalito Dog Parks non-profit where he also served as its first President.

Jim moved from San Francisco to Sausalito in the summer of 1976 to see what life was like on the other side of the bridge. A native of Tennessee, Jim has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA degree from UC Berkeley. After starting his career with Procter & Gamble, he has for the past 30 years been an executive at several small entrepreneurial technical companies. He is currently the CEO of Mall Services Group, an e-commerce marketing firm. His outside interests include classic sports cars and international travel.
