Celebrating the Inaugural Sausalito Music Revival™ Supper Club

The first Sausalito Sister Cities, Inc. Sausalito Music Revival™ Supper Club and, black tie, event of the New Season was a smash success bringing together our Sausalito community in a traditional celebratory way with MUSIC!

Thank you ALL, so much, for your contribution and support of the Sausalito Sister Cities, Inc.  Sausalito Music Revival™ Supper Club. The revival of our community through music and the opening of the doors to our new-found freedom in celebration of one another.

Rocking the Trident, Grammy Award winning musician, Bill Champlin and special guest Tamara Champlin with our very own Blues Hall of Fame inductee Greg Dayton, as emcee with a surprise guest star appearance by Tim Cain of Sons of Champlin. Both Bill and Tim began their careers as Sons of Champlin with Trident Records in the 1960’s. A step back in time where it all began!

Upstairs at The Trident was lovely. Thank you, Rick Enos, General Manager, and owner, Bob Freeman for the generous donation of the Upstairs at the Trident dining venue overlooking the sensational San Francisco and Sausalito skyline.

The fabulous five course meal with wine pairings, designed by Rick Enos, opened with a Champagne Welcome Reception on the Sky Deck with an assortment of delicious passed hors d’oeuvres including a Viña del Mar, Chilean Sea Bass Ceviche. Dinner began with Yoshi Tome’s, Sushi Ran Restaurateur, generous donation of his famous Sakaide Miso Soup. Followed by an array of amazing dishes finishing with a dessert of Patteis de Nata Cascais Portuguese egg tart. All paired with lovely wines graciously donated by wine purveyors Steven Honig, Honig Vineyard and Winery, Rutherford, CA and Monticello Vineyards – Corley Family, Napa Valley, CA.

Thank you to both Harrison Chapman, Chair Sakaide Japan Operations Council and Documentary Film Maker, who kindly volunteered his time to film the event, and Gary Ferber of Gary Ferber Photography for recording the evening festivities.

With tremendous support from our Three Sister Cities Operations Councils, Viña del Mar, Chile, Sakaide, Japan and Cascais, Portugal our Sausalito Sister Cities, Inc. Board of Directors, Volunteers and Host Families, as well as our Sausalito Dignitaries from the Sausalito City Council, Sausalito Chamber of Commerce and our Sausalito Community Restaurateurs and Business Proprietors. Thank you! We all support one another as we are truly All In This Together.

All proceeds from the event benefits our amazing three Sister Cities as our programs are gearing up for a full-blown exchange in 2022!

The Sausalito Viña del Mar contingent will visit the AGEP business women in Chile as the cornerstone of our program is a women in business mentoring exchange.

Sakaide, Japan our cultural student exchange program involving educational, social, communal, and environmental activities promoting peace and learning while opening a world of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.

Cascais, Portugal promotes an educational and cultural exchange between our two cities. One key component of which is our Youth Sailing and Cultural Exchange program, which honors the heritage and seafaring port traditions of both Sausalito and Cascais.

Please continue to make your Donations, which Sausalito Sister Cities, Inc. greatly appreciates, as we prepare for our 2022 exchanges.
