Tom has spent most of his career in senior management of fast-growing technology businesses worldwide.
Tom has worked as Vice President of International for years with two companies, including as founding VP International for Verifone, Inc which became the dominant global leader of payment terminals operating in over 70 countries.

Tom has also worked as CEO of two multinational technology companies, and as board member and CEO advisor in a few other companies. Most recently Tom was the acting Chief Information Officer for Yahoo, Inc.

Tom’s non-profit board experiences include that of his high school in Rome, Italy, the Sausalito Yacht Club and for 20 years the Smuin Ballet. Tom is currently the President of the Board of the Alliance Française of San Francisco.

Tom grew up in Latin America and Italy and has lived in other European countries. Tom has been living for the last 23 years in Sausalito with his partner Donna Bachle.

Tom has a BS from MIT and attended a further year there in graduate studies of International Business and Finance. Tom enjoys working in multiple languages.
