Catalina is a Certified Spanish Language Coach and an active volunteer with the Sausalito Sister Cities programs for Cascais, Portugal, and Viña del Mar, Chile.

Originally from Medellín, Colombia, and currently a resident of Sausalito. Catalina has lived in the U.S. for nearly 20 years, building a successful career in international business. With a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from EAFIT University in Colombia and a Master’s in Business Administration in International Business from McKendree University in the U.S., she has worked with various multinational companies across Latin America and Spain. In addition, she founded “Spanish with Catalina,” offering personalized online and in-person Spanish lessons, both in one-on-one and group settings.

Catalina is committed to her community, actively contributing as a volunteer and cultural ambassador. Her love for travel and passion for exploring different cultures is reflected in her artistic pursuits, particularly watercolor painting, which she often does while traveling. Through her dedication and creativity, Catalina continues to enhance the cultural fabric of Sausalito.
